In time for this afternoon's Grey Cup match between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Montreal Alouettes (6 p.m. EST, 3 p.m. PST), British Columbia's newest Proline Sportsbook Lounge debuts.
The lounge at Chances Casino Terrace is the sixth Proline lounge to operate in British Columbia and the first of its sort in the Skeena region, which is located on the North Pacific Ocean in the northwest of the province.
The lounge has three self-service betting terminals for single bets, parlays, and live in-game betting, as well as an 18-foot multi-view screen that broadcasts several sports.

“We’re proud to bring this exciting experience to Terrace and continue expanding our Proline Sportsbooks offerings across the province,” said Dan Beebe, BCLC’s Chief Operating Officer.
A trip to Vancouver to watch the Canucks play the Edmonton Oilers on January 17, complete with game tickets, lodging, a $500 Uber gift card, and two $500 Visa gift cards, is one of the prizes up for grabs at the grand launch, which takes place today from noon to 9 p.m. PST.
Parq Casino in Vancouver, Chances Kelowna, Chances Maple Ridge, Casino of the Rockies in Cranbrook, and Chances Casino Fort St. John are the locations of the other five loungers.
Proline, the province's digital sports betting platform, took the place of Sports Action in 2024 and is the only location where citizens of British Columbia can lawfully wager on sports or gamble online.
With the ML at -208 and the Alouettes at +140, the Roughriders are favored at Proline.
48 Operators Remain in the Ontario Market
With Betiton's closure, the legal Ontario igaming sector now consists of 48 licensed operators and 82 gaming websites, as was first reported in Canadian Gaming Business.
In January of last year, Aristocrat Interactive, a division of Aristocrat Interactive's online Real Money Gaming division, announced the debut of Betiton in Ontario through its iGaming White-Label package. This was Betiton's fourth market entry using Aristocrat's technology. A strong casino platform with exclusive content from Roxor Gaming and extra material from Wizard Games is part of the White-Label solution.
The Aristocrat White-Label package was also used by the MagicBrand platform, which had previously been introduced in Ontario. Both platforms are no longer operational.
